I'm glad to hear it's over.  There is some noisy watch party in the park with booming rock music, or maybe it's more not rock, just booming subwoofer now.  The police presence has been impresssive, five GSP cars parked just on our street.

Spain’s defense is suffocating. Guess it still holds true in every sport- offense wins games- defense wins championships.
well, if the opponent doesn't take a shot, or have a shot on goal..................

Back to the WNBA I guess. I might turn baseball on if it were actually on television anymore. But it's not on a channel I get. Who would have thought it's easier to watch the WNBA than MLB?

Was at a family gathering in Houston yesterday where the game was on the big tv.

Vaguely watched them run around with no goals scored and then time expired with a 0-0 tie.  We had to leave not long after.

Soccer is frickin' boring.

On the plus side, one of my cousins husband did the brisket, and though he is a goofy Aggie, that dude knows how to smoke it right.  Superb, and it should probably go on the Happy thread.

Glad to see Espana win it.

And the brisket-chimichurri street tacos were delicious.

Now back to the real world I guess.  At least college football is just around the corner.
