Wisconsin (5-2, 3-1) at Illinois (3-5, 1-4) Postgame

So, Illinois came into Madison last year and smashed Wisconsin's teeth in.

That loss got the head coach fired.

Illinois is not as good as it was last year, and we have no idea what Wisconsin is now.

Wisconsin should be embarrassed after the way it played last weekend against Iowa.

Illinois should be confident after the way it played last weekend against Maryland.

I think Wisconsin will win this one. More on that to come.

Hot take:

Will Rogers should xfer to Wisconsin.  He has an extra year of eligibility due to covid rules and no way does he come back to play for Zach Arnett.  The Badgers could use him.

That's my gut instinct as well. Teams like Illinois have a tendency to relax after a big upset win.  Wisconsin will have something to prove.  Plus Wisc may be the better tea.

I feel like Wisconsin is going to play its best game of the season today. Tea leaves and stuff.

Wisconsin 31
Illinois 10

I still need this defense to maintain a goddamn edge against a quarterback.
