That backup quarterback for Clemson looks amazing to me!

Meanwhile, Rutgers kick the living shit out of Ohio State in the second half in every way you can. Made them look terrible.

So Clemson curb-stomps ND with Lawrence, right?  If the Irish eek this out and get full credit for it, screw that.
I'm not sure, the big backup QB has played pretty well

there are many reasons Lawrence might have missed a game this season besides COVID
I am enjoying the game in South Bend

Northwestern and Indiana have huge advantages over the other Big Ten teams. They are acclimated to playing in front of small crowds.

Gee, then I wonder why he's the backup QB, lol.

It's been a good game.  Officially Twelving in South Bend!

then we can judge how much better he is than

29/44 439 and 2 TDs

How much of the playbook was available to the OC?
Ya think maybe ND was focused on stopping RB Etienne?

Don't express 2-dimensional thinking just to disagree with me.

I'll admit I was quite skeptical at first, especially since it seemed like our AD was simply hooking his old buddy up with a job (Ray Anderson used to be Herm's agent way back in the day) but despite no immediate extraordinary results on the field I'm definitely feeling good about it.

Herm has taken the right approach, he's more of a program CEO and motivator who let's his assistants do the large bulk of the coaching. He realized you need to recruit to compete and hiring Antonio Pierce out of one of SoCal's best HS programs (Long Beach Poly) has been easily his smarted move. Hiring Al Luginbill as a talent/recruit evaluator has been huge too, he has an eye for the 3 star kids who are likely gonna blow up. Herm's biggest mistake was promoting Graham's WR coach Rob Likens to OC when he took over, who showed soon enough he was in over his head. Thankfully he rectified his mistake and nabbed a much better OC from Boise St (Zak Hill).

Long story short: Herm has been trying to rebuild the ASU football program from the ground up, hired recruiters in his assistant ranks, and has us headed in the right direction.
I told you that hiring Todd Graham was a mistake.  Everywhere he's been in charge, he's left the program in lousy shape.  He's a lying "faith, family, football" piece of crap.

Oh man Va Tech blocked a field goal and returned it for a touchdown to win against Liberty...but didn't, because they called timeout. Then Liberty made the field goal and won the game.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
Sorry, Froggy.  I was rooting for your Sun Devils too.

Congrats to the Fighting Irish.

I thought that Kelly should have gone for 2 at the end of regulation, as I figured that Clemson was the better team and that would tell in OT(s).

But it all worked out just right.  Notre Dame outplayed Clemson in OT.

About Lawrence being out, that's the breaks of the game.  Maybe he should have been more careful.

And the backup QB looked pretty good.  Better than the vast majority of starters looked today.

Yeah no excuses for Clemson.  They were up 7 twice with a chance to close it out and couldn't do it.  The defense has not looked as good lately.

Texas A&M might be pretty good, maybe.
