Where is Wisconsin? Why is Wisconsin not here?

The simple reason is they cannot be here. Sorry Purdue.

Have to mine the freezer today. Scallops, shrimp. Maybe make some homemade fries.

There is a storm coming (maybe) and I've got no Genny yet.

I'm going to warm up with some coffee then hit the store.  Grilling something today - not too many 70 degree Saturdays in November up here.  All that talk about hot dogs makes me want get some.

A hot dog would be good, like right now.

I’m trying to decide if I should save a little money, which I spent too much of. Or if I should go get a nice sandwich at a restaurant I like to support a local business.

Not in the cards today but I'm not sure which is better, a good Reuben or a good Cuban.  I'm pretty sure those are the best sandwiches, though a BLT can make a case.

The little harbor shop here makes a wonderful Rueben. Had one at lunch the other day.

This is the first real threat this year, which is odd.

There is a part of me that wants to shelter through a hurricane, despite the many warnings that this is a bad idea

Yea they liked the other side of the Gulf this year.

You'll get used to it.

We are going to stick around. We're about a mile from water, and at elevation 18. Anything above 11-12 is generally safe.

When we were looking here, I made "friends" with the floodplain manager at the County. She was sending me elevation certificates for all the places we looked at.

And yeah, I'm a CFM (certified floodplain manager) too. :)

Picked up some chicken breasts and smoked provolone.  Gonna do a chicken parm.  Trying to decide if I want to do a side of pasta, or make garlic bread to use for a sandwich.

Bigger decision is what to drink today.  It's supposed to hit 82 in my part of Florida.  Might make today a screwdriver day.

it'll be 75 and windy here in the upper midwest - about the 5th straight day of mid 70s

should be golfing, but Husker football is more rare than 70 degree golf in November, so........ looking forward to a good game

I'm setting up another IPTV box in the front room to accommodate the Hawkeye game

gonna try roasting some bacon wrapped pickle spears in the oven - should pair nicely with a bloody mary and a beer back

after that roasting some egg rolls and bacon wrapped little smokies!
