He must be a big deal then.
Didn't he used to play for the Red Sox?

I watched Who's The Boss for one reason only.  Same reason I watched Charmed and several... "movies"... in the early 90s.

Tony Danza?  :57:

Nevermind, I shouldn't joke.  It'll be misconstrued through red-colored lenses.  Oh shit, was that a race card joke, since I said a color word?  I'm confused now.

Ha!  There you go again.

I have great respect for Tony Danza.  I mean, Elton John wrote a whole song about him.

He became an easy punching bag over the years, I guess.  I never had a problem with him, but the "I'm Italian" schtick gets old quick, and he didn't have another one.
But yes, Alyssa Milano is a very talented actress.

We stopped clamoring for Sly, and there certainly wasn't room for Sly Jr.

Friends was a favorite of mine at the time, probably because of cute girls that were about my same age. I find it to be a little dated these days, but I do think they did a decent job of satirizing the "I'm Italian" schtick with Joey's character.  He was an Italian-American who did the worst Italian accent of any of the friends, among other things.  I thought they handled it pretty well overall.

Let's see, how many episodes did Friends go, and did any of the actors go on to other long-running shows?  Matt LeBlanc did one where he played himself, I think.  And Courtney Cox was in Dirt and Cougartown but I don't think either were long-lived.

Then there was Matthew Perry in a short-lived Sorkin dramedy called Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip, sort of a 30 Rock before 30 Rock and more edgy but less funny.

I totally forgot about Bachelors Father.   He was on a lot of game shows and variety shows, I never thought about him beyond Charlie's and Dynasty.
