But, worse Texas teams have beaten better OU teams in the past, and vice versa.
What's the biggest upset for each team in your lifetime?

Good question, I'm not sure.  I'd have to go back and look.

who the hell had this on their bingo card before the season? not me. have to admit was a big believer in Arch pre-season and Sark is known for being a QB guru with high flying passing attacks.

Yeah it's pretty surprising, and embarrassing, for the folks responsible for the incredible disappointment.

B10 quarterbacks surprisingly competent. 5 of the top 6 nationally in QBR. Sayin leads the country in completion percentage.

B1G has 3 guys in the top 10 in QBR in FBS out of 138 ranked QB's.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/qbr

Jayden Maiava, USC #1
Luke Altmeyer, Illinois #6
Julian Sayin, OSU #8

3 more in the top 20:
Desmond Williams, Washington #12
Fernando Mendoza, IU #14
Dante Moore, Oregon #18

Only other B1G QB that makes the cut in the top 30 is Aidan Chiles at #28th.

Bryce Underwood just outside top 30 nationally- makes the list at 32nd. highest graded freshman however and the only QB in the B1G to have faced two top 10 rated SP+ defenses (OU, #2 rated defense in SP+ & Nebraska, #10 rated defense in SP+)- which were both road games- and the OU game being at night in his second ever start and first ever road start. Hey, maybe he's pretty good.

I don't believe in ESPN outside of SP+

I can't recall a bigger flop in college that Arch.  I know things can turn around, maybe it's in his head now, maybe he's frustrated (I'm sure) and can't clear data.

yeah, I can't either. i will admit i thought he looked excellent as a recruit and with the background, pedigree he was going to be a stud. also thought he really popped and flashed in the moments he got in the last 2 years as the backup. he's also a really talented athlete at 6'4"+ who can really run- has some quick twitch/juice to him. thought with him being a JR and having 3 years now in the Sark system and with his background/pedigree that he was ready for prime time and to break out as a superstar. boy was i wrong. just another reminder to never believe it til ya see it. guys have to go out and prove it on the field all season long before you crown them.

I thought the questions about his competition in high school were legit. But they ran off Quinn Ewers so I figured the coaching staff knew he was an upgrade. The man can't hit a crossing route.

He's not as good as his uncles. I think that's all we can say at this point. He still has time.
