No SOC thread yet?  My sleep schedule is all messed up due to a non-covid flu I've had.  I went to bed at 9pm last night and this is the latest I could sleep.  I've been sleeping almost 12 hours lately, so I think I might almost be over this thing.

Anyhow 6 hours until the noon kicks, so may do a little work this morning and then mow the lawn since I'm finally feeling well enough to do that.
Heh didn't want to get out of bed.

Friday I got a letter from the IRS claiming I owe nearly $11 K.  So I was up at 5 AM worrying about my response (I don't owe it, they double counted some income).

That sort of thing is annoying.

Sounds like someone had a good year.

(I'm gonna owe a good bit next year, something I'm not super looking forward to, but also am preped for)

I still get stock options, or have them to sell in effect, and the company uses E Trade, an outfit I loathe.  E Trade apparently send a W2 on the same transaction my company sent me and the IRS a W2.

Ha, just so happens that I received a letter just a few hours ago from NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.  "An examination of the books and records of AMAZON.COM INC disclosed payments were made to you for services performed as a subcontractor..."

What are the chances that Jeff Bezos and Amazon received any kind of similar letter?  I'm saying zero percent chance.  Too big to fail.

But I 'm a bit worried...
