Shouldn't the clock run on an intentional grounding penalty?
No. That would be a benefit to the offense on an offensive penalty.

Also, this is absolutely targeting. Defender led, and made first contract, with the crown of the helmet.

The officiating is this game has been really really bad.

That was neither late nor targeting.

If they call that targeting they should hand us the NC based on the non-targegeting against MHJ.

Both these teams would beat Texas by 30 points now.

It's funny how Jeremiah Smith is the best WR ever (people are saying...) and he's basically had an identical career to Braylon Edwards.
Edwards was an All-American, high draft pick, a much ballyhooed player....but no one was suggesting the best ever.

Interesting.

Wut?   He not only did not lead with the crown of his helmet, the crown of his helmet, never made contact.

Braylon was (1) pretty good and (2) had three receptions as a freshman, so their careers haven't been very similar at all.

242 rec, 3541 yds, 39 TD.......10 car, 72 yds
211 rec, 3474 yds, 39 TD.......10 car, 73 yds

I'll hang up and listen.
