Guys, there's no need to debate this further.

As the self-appointed arbiter of everything, aren't we to take his declaration as gospel in every and all discussion?

Chicagoans prefer it 90-10. Deep dish is for tourists.

I don't. Deep dish is a thing. It's a pizza--a weird version of it, but pizza nonetheless. And, like many things in life, I enjoy it in small doses. I wouldn't want to replace my general pizza consumption with deep dish. Every now and again, I'm happy to have it. I also think it is easier to make bad deep dish pizza than bad regular (are we calling it "tavern"?) pizza.

Quite the opposite. Deep dish is very forgiving because of the ridiculous amount of dough involved.

A cracker-thin crust is key for Chicago pizza and it's easy to screw up.

Tavern-style pizza, also known as party-cut pizza, is a type of pizza that has both a thin crust firm enough to have a noticeable crunch and slices cut into squares, as opposed to wedges.
