I presume TFL includes any tackle made behind the LOS for any reason, including sacks, which means of the QB.

I don't know if it's a sack if you TFL a running back who is trying to throw the ball though, I'd guess not.

It would be kind of neat if you like up in a wild cat formation with the QB split out wide but then QB runs behind the RB for a lateral and then gets sacked.

Why do we drive on parkways, but park on driveways?

Why are things sent by car "shipment" but things sent by ship are "cargo" ?

Kids love getting confused when you teach them to 'take' a pitch,  ie don't swing.  Then they later are told to take it the other way.  Which is it?

Why is Iowa the Hawkeyes?  I do know how to husk corn, never associated it with a state though.

Why is Minny the Gophers?

Georgia initially was the goats (and not greatest of AT either).  There is a Yale connection here.

Georgia Tech I don't get, a nasty ill tempered bug that can only cause you some minor pain.

Purdue I like.  They make boilers.  Got it.

A buckeye is a useless nut.

Seems to me that nature husks corn.

People de-husk corn.

husker. Noun. (plural huskers) One who husks (as one who removes the husks, leaves, from ears of corn).

The funny thing is where I grew up in Iowa we didn't use the word husk.  We shucked corn, which means the same thing as to husk corn.

In fact my hometown would have an annual "shuck fest"  where everybody in town would get together to shuck all the corn that was going to be cooked for the annual sweet corn festival.
