How do our politicians in DC get so rich on a government salary?  For example, the Obama's recent purchase of a home on Martha's Vineyard for >$11 million.  I think that's their third home with the others being in posh neighborhoods in Chicago and DC.  Not sure if they ever bought or still have that one in Hawaii.  If so that would be four.  Anyway, it's both parties but that's the one at the top of my brain right now.

Wealthy politicians in general make their money writing books.  It's a lucrative task apparently for many.  Some married wealthy spouses and some of course were wealthy first.

In baseball, if there are no runners on base and there is less than 2 strikes,  does there need to be a catcher behind the plate to catch the pitch?

Actually yes, the rule require someone be in the catcher's position.

Baseball has some strange rules.  I recall trying to teach the basics to some 6 year olds back in the day.  You run if THIS happens unless THAT is in effect in which case you stay put.

I remember my first tee ball game I didn't know that you had to cross home plate in order to score. So my first time around the bases I crossed third and headed back to the bench. So the coach and the parents were all like "Brutus! Run home! RUN HOME!" Of course I thought that they meant back to my house. So off I went, when all of a sudden I had like 20 adults running after me. I'm thinking"man, this is a weird game."

What the Obamas' $65 million book advance actually means ...

Mar 2, 2017 - Barack and Michelle Obama each just sold a book in a joint deal that ... the author an advance payment of those royalties in a single lump sum.

Signing a book deal?  I don't think so.  It's not illegal income.

Does the TFL stats include sacks? They are always two different stats but curious if they are combined since a sack is also a TFL.
