If I had to make an educated guess, it's Sinkwich in action vs Ole Miss, on October 10, 1942.  UGA whipped them and went from unranked up to #2 (they only ranked the top 10 then).  
I was thinking OM, and then found a colorized version of the photo, with the helmets dark blue and the jerseys light blue, with grey pants.  So if that is at all accurate, then Ole Miss makes sense.
