Stirring the pot 2
« on: September 15, 2017, 01:37:22 PM »
It's Friday.  Time to annoy you.

Yep, I know I did this early last week.  My inconsistency just adds to the annoyance.

1.  Somebody last week said they would rather have Wilton Speight instead of Trace McSorely.  This may be among the most homer things I'd ever heard, so it stuck with me.  So far this season Speight may be the worst QB in the B1G.  Maybe he gets a pass against Florida, but that performance against the bearcats was awful as well.

2.  Maybe it's just me, but perhaps we should stop putting Maryland and Rutgers in the same category?  Nah.

3.  I'd really like to say something to annoy Purdue fans, but after the last few years I can't be that cruel.  Anybody notice the video game numbers their QB is putting up?

4.  Ohio State - JT Barrett is actually pretty good.  He's getting a lot of blame, simply because Ohio State fans are used to having more talent and the better team.  Oklahoma was the better team last week, and they simply had more talent.  That doesn't mean you bench your record setting QB, it simply means that Meyer has some coaching to do.  He's good at that.  Methinks you'll still beat Michigan and Penn State somehow...

5.  Wisconsin - I wonder how Wisconsin fans are going to handle all of those sober mormons?  The badgers are going to feel like they are in soviet Russia.  And if you do find alcohol, good luck finding coffee the next morning.

BAC limit in Utah is 0.05

Badger fans exceed that when they are sober.

Say What?  That's absolutely ludicrous.

Where have you ever seen a sober Badger fan?

You'd have to use it as a suppository, so it doesn't taint your breath.

My head was grazed by an empty whiskey bottle, back in the day when the shoe had temporary bleachers next to the actual seats in the stadium. Talk about a bunch of townie drunks.

I guess those 42 unanswered hurt pretty bad, but probably not as bad as that bottle would have had it been a direct hit. Never saw it coming. I mean, it's not like I was the one scoring all those points, or anyone around be for that matter.

In Madison that sort of behavior is reserved for the asshat students.

The temporary bleacher section was the student section.

We are talking about what used to be the open (South) end of the Horseshoe, no?

The bottle came from the hard seats - section 29A as it's now called. They were not students.

The students were on the other side of the bleachers.

The one side we were on was for visiting fans.
