Yup, I doubt you'd have to spend a lot on new tires.  I mean, you can always spend as much as you like and get Michelins, but there should be plenty of more affordable options for a car that common and standard.
Yeah, tires can start getting pricey when you're talking 20" rims, fairly low profiles, and SUV load ratings... Shouldn't be so bad for a Camry.

Hmm.....I'll have to note the tire size if I check it out.  It's an XLE, not an LE, which the InterGooglez tells me use different size tires, and that the XLE size is less common than the LE.  Could be more per tire.

You can go to a website like Discount Tire or TireRack, enter the make, model, year, and trim package, and it'll give you all sorts of options.

Wowee, I haven't even heard of the brands cheaper than the Yokohamas ($193).  $64 for Sentury, $80 for Phantom, $136 for Road Hugger, and $165 for Falken (I have heard of that brand).

The "SE" and "XLE" trims commonly use 235/45R18 tires.

The "patent thing" Michelin had a limited life, it would have been 17 years in the US after granting, at that time.  So, by 1965 anyone could make them, and they did.

They're "halo cars". They're really not meant for mass production... Chevy apparently had 302 orders, total, for the 2025 ZR1. Compare that to about a total production of 42K 2024 Corvettes, and the ZR1 spec is in the order of 1% of production, of a sports car that is already a low-volume model
The C8 ZR1 era has hardly started, and already the automaker has had multiple issues in building the newest American supercar. The issues first started when GM opened ordering but offered zero availability of its carbon fiber aero package which resulted in all ZR1 orders getting pulled back and then eventually pushed back to 3000 status. Now the biggest problem isn’t with the car…it’s the calendar.

Last week we posted that Chevy is running out of time to build all the 2025 Corvette ZR1 orders that had been accepted back in April. A total of 310 ZR1 orders are showing in the order system and they started building them the week of April 28th. However, since assembly started, to date only 65 have been completed and time is running out to complete them all before the model year changeover happens on Monday, August 4th.

GM Tells Dealers It Can't Build All Accepted 2025 ZR1 Orders and to Resubmit as a 2026 Order

With time running out, GM emailed dealers with outstanding ZR1 orders late Friday to let them know they cannot commit to building all 310 Corvette ZR1s in the order system. Any 2025 ZR1 order that is still at 3000 Status or less will need to be resubmitted as a 2026 model year order. Unfortunately for those buyers, the new 2026 models come with a higher MSRP and destination charges. The 2026 pricing that was revealed on Friday shows the 2026 ZR1 priced at $7200 higher than the 2025s based on the higher MSRP and the destination charge going up by another $100 to $1,995.
