They should have kept up with the 2500 option.

Yup, they ditched it a while back, maybe around 2010?  I have a friend with a 2005 GMC Yukon XL 2500 that he uses for towing.  At this point he pays quite a bit to maintain it and keep it in top shape, but you can't buy them anymore so he prefers this to the alternative.

I don't think you could get a 3/4 Tahoe. Or could you? Mine were all 1/2.

No, you could get 3/4 Suburban or Yukon XL.  Those are the longer versions of the Tahoe and Yukon.

10/4. I've never had a need for towing. All of my boats were too big except for now, but it's not going anywhere and I have no trailer anyway.

A while back I looked for an SUV with a high towing rating and came up ... short.  Surprised me a bit.  Some now hit 10,000 pounds.

I guess if I live long enough I might be considering a $100 K vehicle.

Unfortunately, the Corvette ZR1’s fuel economy numbers aren’t the greatest and it’s one of the reasons why it has a $3000 gas guzzler tax added to each and every one. So how bad is the ZR1 at sipping fuel? The government’s FuelEconomy.gov website has America’s newest supercar at 12 MPG City and 18 MPG Highway for a combined 14 MPG.

As a comparison, the Z06 has 394 hp less than the ZR1 and the version with the Carbon Aero Package gets 12 MPG City and 19 MPG Highway for a combined 14 MPG rating. The Z06 without the Aero Package has the same city rating but gets 20 MPG on the highway for a combined 14 MPG. The best Corvette for fuel economy is the Stingray Z51 with 16 MPG City and 25 MPG highway for a combined 19 MPG. And finally, the E-Ray also gets 16 MPG city and 24 MPG Highway for a combined 19 MPG rating.

I don't know if these are especially beloved, many are high end Ferraris.

I'd agree with this opinion list, but not sure why anyone would spend much time and thought on it.

My own top ten would probably be all muscle cars from the 60s.  I think they look cool and I like seeing them at car shows, but I don't want to own or drive any of them except maybe briefly.

While digging through a pile of old loose photos this weekend, I came across a pic of me on my first day of my jr year of high school, standing in the driveway next to that '86 Crown Vic I mentioned.  The angle of the picture doesn't help, but that thing looks (and felt) almost as long as any truck I ever drove.

I thought about posting it, but then I realized my sheer handsomeness would cause too much envy.
