I'm glad I avoided the minivan curse.  I get that they're functional, but I don't think I could ever drive one.

Luckily for me I always had the excuse to own an SUV instead.  Because as functional as they are, minivans can't tow large boats and RVs.

had some very practical vehicles I'm not overly proud of  but certainly not ashamed of as a minivan

won't ever have a glorified minivan passed off as a SUV

I've never had a glorified minivan either.  Every SUV I've owned was built on a truck chassis.

As I've stated many times, I actually very much prefer towing with an SUV over a pickup.  But alas, nobody makes an SUV anymore, that can tow what I need.  The Excursion is long gone, and GM eliminated the 3/4 ton options on their SUVs.

For those curious, that's a 2006 M-B/McClaren SLR.

They were partners for some time. McClaren exclusively used M-B engines up through 2014, I think.

I always take traction control off the C8 to get a bit of spin during launch control
it appears to improve 0-60 time slightly

For sure.  If you’re Not using traction control, then brake target to about 1800 RPMs, let your foot off the break and roll the accelerator down with the idea that you want to get the pedal to the floor before the end of first gear

Toyota Camry was our best (2016 model). It was recently totaled in a wreck, not our fault. 17 year old girl in a Camaro side swiped when trying to pass. 130,000 miles. Zero issues. 

Best truck was our 2016 Ram 1500 3.0 diesel. 24-26 mpg hwy, very good riding truck. Very few issues.  

Worst was 2012 F-150. Multiple issues before 60k. Still a very solid truck and one of my favorites. 

I was slightly disappointed in our 2007 Accord. No major issues really, just a bunch of little stuff.
