Well, if you get him the 25 model, you’re going to get the twin turbo in-line V6 hurricane engine. It comes in two versions and one is 420 hp while the other is 550!   Better than gas, lower on insurance and it comes in all-wheel-drive    Sexy, and quick. 
I can make a testimonial for that engine. I have the high output version in my grand Wagoneer, which is 540 hp. The engine is smooth, quiet, pulls like a freight train and is relatively good on gas for a vehicle that large.

Uhh yeah, no.

2023 at the newest, the last all-gas Charger available.  ~300 hp I think.

Well the damage is done.  Drove a bunch of different cars over the past few weeks, this one was the winner.  Pretty sporty.

I remain amused how "muscle cars" of the bygone era actually often were pretty slow and some were underpowered by any standard of today even using small SUVs.

I'm not taking about the inflated hp figures listed with no alternator etc., but SAE Net HP and 0-60 times.  I recall my 1973 Nova with a 350 cid had 185 hp and did 0-60 in 8.5 according to the mags.  Our little Tucson is listed at 7.1 seconds and 231 hp.

That Nova wasn't a muscle car but was comparatively fast in 1973.

Now you get the lowest hp Mustang and it's over 300 hp.

I think we're going to switch, we've had USAA for over 20 years but it's just too pricey.  Almost everyone I know that used to have it, has dropped them.

I'm with Progressive, after being with State Farm for eons.  When we moved here, SF pissed me off.  I shopped around a bit.  I got some quotes from others including USAA and they were the same or higher.  I have not had a claim with Progressive, yet.

They recently gave me a discount, of $11 semiannually.  I think I pay $611 twice a year for OK coverage.
