B1G may well get two teams from the East as well, TCU and USC drop a game- might wind up being 2 teams from the SEC and B1G.

hot take of the week: Jesse Minter is a better DC than Mike McDonald, who he replaced. Both come from the Ravens 3-4 system, they run the same defense- but Minter seems to have a touch at making half-time adjustments that is other worldly. 

Michigan in the 2nd halves of it's last 5 games? 117-3. In the final 10 quarters, Jesse Minter's defense has given up 3 points to Penn State, that's it.
