Shocking they turn to option at the goalie and watch JT shuffle his feet for a loss twice. Then JT has no touch and overthrows a wide open receiver. Yeah, he's #alltimebest. Horrible play calling, as usual. Dobbins gets you there and JT slams the breaks.

a SR Baker Mayfield is a pretty special QB. He reads things so well and knows where to go with the ball instantly and he gets it there in a hurry and with deadly accuracy.

That great OSU pass rush hasn't had a chance to really take over bc Mayfield gets rid of the ball so quickly. He's been super impressive.
What he said. Baker is on spot. The glaring difference between a SR mayfield and a SR Barrett is obvious.

When is OSU gonna realize the Sooners are completely focused on stopping Barrett.  Spread the ball around more.  Buckeyes could benefit from some plays to the TE also.

No, I've been watching UGA-ND.

All this bitching and OSU is winning.  Be careful, you might cause Urby some heartburn and he'll quit....

No worries. We've got some Barrett option plays no one has ever seen before.

Either Barrett can't make the plays, or the coaching staff doesn't trust him to do so.  Either way it is a big problem that seems to have neutered the OSU offense.

it's a bunch of stuff. Barrett has bad vision. He has bad touch. Misses wide open guys. The new O-Co is buying into the Barrett fleet of foot nonsense that's never really come to fruition. He's not fast. But they keep calling Option and Barrett keeps on keeping the rock rather than giving it to dobbins or Webber, both of whom are ten times faster and more agile.
It's a mess and has been for three years. It's a never ending nightmare for me. I just wish Meyer would nut up and accept that he's screwing us with this loyalty crap to a sub par QB.

Does OSU not use a TE anymore?  I think that would be a solid option for Barrett.

Social media is lighting Meyer up for not seeing the obvious with Barrett and the box play calling. Gonna be a long season behind Barrett. And the IV thing? Might help to not suck first.

Barrett seems most dangerous when running from pass formations.  They should set him up with some mid range routes + a TE in the flats to dump, or JT runs.  I think that plays to his strengths.

As I type he throws a pick.

Lincoln Riley and Baker Mayfield deserve a ton of credit here.  Well planned and executed offense.

OSU defense had a noble effort, but the offense just couldn't keep up.

Meyer's offense is not going to work against the big boys because nobody respects Barrett throwing down field.  I gotta agree with BB here, even though he is obviously frustrated.  JT is not the answer if he can't stretch a defense.  Meyer needs another Cardale Jones.
