Finally makes sense. The fanbase brainwashed and still looking down their noses without the ability to admit their program was high on the cheater list during their run of the 2000’s because they had to find a way to finally beat their rival. They modeled it, act like they never did it while acting smug. Modeled by Tressel, lived out by his fans
LoL, nice try.

Ohio State fired Tressel for ignoring one email involving a diddly squat violation where players traded their own stuff for tattoos.

Michigan promoted Moore despite knowing that he deleted 54 text messages to thwart an NCAA investigation into a massive cheating scheme orchestrated by their coaching staff.

Try again.

you do realize that just because someone deletes a conversation from their iPhone it does not mean those texts are deleted permanently, right? buddy didn't bleachbit his phone and then destroy it like Hillary.

NCAA recovered those texts. if there was something serious in them, we would've all seen them and he would've been nailed to the cross.

feel like you should know this for future reference in case you get caught cheating on the wife. she can still recover those texts as long as she has access to your account, even if you delete them from your iPhone.

https://www.cleveland.com/osu/2011/10/once_treated_like_royalty_form.html

I’ve play nice long enough. This dude won’t shut his mouth so I’m going to continue to lay out the cheaters that Ohio State was during Tressell. Those of us that have been in the circle of the booster know for a long time osu players were on “payroll” for his companies. Old school soprano-like no show jobs. It didn’t stop at tattoos nor gold pants. It didn’t stop at envelopes at charity events. It’s the reason guys like Clarett and Pryor ended up at OsU. Before NIL was a thing, Tressel had his connection and his connection paid.

Osu deserves credit, they swept a lot under the rug, painted the picture of this booster that was the problem and doing things without their knowledge and it was just tattoos and gold pants when it was the dark world of college sports before NIL became a thing. So smug cheater cryer..osu in the Tressel era was the king of cheaters by paying players. It’s why you’re crying like a 5 year old falls on deaf ears. My circle is with this booster. I’ve heard the quiet stories around their fire pit. They’re an old school family that’s well connected in many many ways. They didn’t get awarded old veteran hospital land by accident. They don’t get the excavation rights to the new browns stadium for no reason. And they were deep in helping OsU cheat to finally beat Michigan and get ahead after Cooper embarrassed them for a decade. Feel free to act like a holy program, but it was built on Tressel and his circle of paying boosters and denying is the reason you’re a fraud, smug, nose in the air fan. College sports have been dirty a long time: long before Stallions and sure as shit not avoiding Columbus. You aren’t holier than though, you’re just a lot stirring, nose-in-the air hypocrite that think he and his program are better than people.

So keep posting cheater all the time while acting innocent and smug and I’ll return the favor and start ruining all your threads like you’ve spent the last two years doing to any Michigan thread. You’ve already ruined the board enough, so now I’ll play your game.

You make a good point. So instead of fighting one vs the other, they both deserve the death penalty...

I can get behind that. A pox on both your houses!

Michigan people will never accept the fact that what Harbaugh and the rest of UM did was a violation of the integrity of the game on the field.  Selling memorabilia will against the rules had nothing to do with what happened on the field.  They are all in cognitive dissonance, they cannot accept the fact that they root for a team that is corrupt to the core.  The corruption to the core is known because of how the university dealt with the issue.

Just merge this thread with the hate thread and be done with it.

And OSU fans simplify paying their players to selling memorabilia and that's the most surface level excuse and nowhere near what happened. Just like Stallions paying guys to record other teams signals is probably just the surface of what happened and Michigan must have done a good job sweeping a lot under the rug as did OSU 15 years ago.

I learned a good put me in a check lesson from ELA earlier this year. He's a guy that had connections to the UM program and likely had far more information about the truth than i did.  I had to accept Michigan probably crossed more lines that the stories we were getting or I wanted to admit. My situation is very similar when it comes to OSU with their Tressel situation. My circle just wasn't rumors or things I heard, but directly people involved.

Here's what I learned in both.. OSU & UM get away and have likely gotten away with far more than any other schools in the conference because of one thing. $$$$  There's a part of that as a fan that sucks, but there's also a reality and it's not about ignoring it, it's about just realizing thats been major college sports programs for a while and I still cheer for the guys on the field not the system. Just like I support every military person that's a friend or family, but not necessarily in support of what our government is.. So that being said, the last thing I want to keep hearing and reading is OSU fans snub their noses in the air and scream cheater and talk to the remaining couple UM fans like we're scumbags. It's old and you're flat out freaking hypocrites because your program cheated their asses off under Tressel.. The rest of the fans here? Wisconsin, Purdue, PSU, MSU, Nebraska, etc.. you want to harshly criticize the system and what Michigan gets away with because of money.. I get it.. it's fair..it's not right... and it's what so many parts of our world are run by .. $... OSU fans that keep running their mouths in a condescending A-hole way... i'm done sitting back and being cordial.. the more you make a point to be a pompous A-hole, the more i'll fire back the same way because a couple years of being smug is enough.. typical do what i say not what i do politician

My issue has never been who cheated who didn't. It comes down to integrity of the game played on the field.
