https://scarletandgame.com/accusations-of-cheating-follow-michigan-once-more-after-ohio-state-defeat?page_source=v_recirc

The Buckeyes got the win despite having issues with their communication system on the sideline. It was something that was only happening to Ohio State, and some fans thought that Michigan was doing it on purpose. Cheating accusations started flying on social media.

As Adam King of 10TV noted, the Buckeyes had the power go down on their sidelines. Multiple times this game the power has gone out on the Buckeyes sideline. It interrupted OSU as they’re communicating with the coaches in the box
Given Michigan's history of cheating I certainly wouldn't put it past them.  Obviously no Michigan "man" is going to have the integrity to not cheat but that said I'm not willing to just assume it was cheating without at least SOME evidence.

I did a quick google search for an image of Connor Stalions flipping a breaker and came up empty, LoL.

I'd assume it was cheating
unless there's evidence of similar issues during the other 5 home games

Given their history, I shouldn't give Michigan the benefit of the doubt but . . .
My first guess is that it was GFIs tripping in the snow/slush.

I'll let the EEs around here address that
I'm guessing they weren't tripping on the other sideline

That is where suspicion creeps in.

This is my take exactly. The offense was this:
1st down - run
2nd down - run
3rd down - pass

was crazy creative. Moore isn’t the guy.
Nonsense he was endorsed by AD Manual and former HC Harbaugh with glowing approval.Just wait until Moore gets his guys, you'll see

congrats to Ohio. they earned it.

pretty weak sauce of Michigan players to defend the 50 yard line after the game. said the same thing last year- you don't want them planting a flag, don't lose the game. otherwise just take the L and go into the locker room and start planning on how to beat them next year.

I'd assume it was cheating
I'm REALLY trying not to just assume the worst but the more that comes out about this the more it looks like it was more cheating from Auburn-North:

I'm using this link because it isn't a biased pro-Ohio State site, it is a neutral, pro-Tennessee site that has no dog in the fight.  There is something going on.  Day's press conference wink after saying he had an inkling is hiding something.  My guess is that he was tipped off.  Did other B1G teams face the same issue at Michigan and warn Day that the weasels might try this stunt?  Let's look at the possibilities, here are Michigan's home games prior to The Game this year:
  • 34-17 win over New Mexico:  Michigan led by at least two scores throughout the second half so this seems unlikely.
  • 63-3 win over Central Michigan:  Blowout so extremely unlikely.
  • 24-10 win over Wisconsin:  This one is possible.  Michigan led 10-7 at the half and didn't take a two-score lead until late in the third quarter.  It is also pretty safe to assume that Fickell would have warned his alma mater if Michigan used their latest cheating scheme against him.
  • 24-7 win over Washington:  As big as this win ended up, it was tied at the half and Michigan was only up 14-7 going into the fourth quarter.  This one seems fairly likely but I don't know what connections the Ohio State and Washington staffs have.  Furthermore, Washington HC Jedd Fisch has no discernable connections to Ohio State but did coach QBs and WRs at Michigan from 2015-2016 so he is probably the least likely to have given Day a heads up.
  • 21-16 win over Purdue:  This one seems likely.  Michigan was up 14-7 at the half and Purdue kicked a FG in the third.  Michigan only had a two-score lead for a few minutes in the fourth quarter.  I do not know of any connections between the Purdue and Ohio State staffs.

It seems to me it was most likely either Fickell or Odom who was victimized by Michigan's latest cheating scheme and warned Ohio State.

OSU even prepared for it beforehand. They expected it to happen, and had a contingency plan.

That and Day's wink after stating that he had an "inkling" strongly suggests that Ohio State was warned about the cheaters latest scheme, who warned them?

perhaps they don't need warnings, they've just come to expect it

Finally makes sense. The fanbase brainwashed and still looking down their noses without the ability to admit their program was high on the cheater list during their run of the 2000’s because they had to find a way to finally beat their rival. They modeled it, act like they never did it while acting smug. Modeled by Tressel, lived out by his fans
