70s Mustangs were not ugly... until they came out with the "Mustang II."  Let us never speak of it again.

I guess I understand why cars were made so damn large in the '70's, but did they have to be so damn ugly?
One reason is they had to hang thiose ugly bumpers on cars in 1973.  Later they integrated them better, and they also downsized the monstrous cars like Impalas.

I think some of them looked OK.

I love some of those 70s land yachts.  I don't consider them particularly "sporty" but there's something magnificent and wonderful about a beast like this:

Is that real or a rendering?  Looks like a cross between a 50s Vette and maybe a C7?

Edit: Actually looking at historical pictures it's probably more like a C5 or C6.

It'd be better in Red with white side inserts and a white top

I saw a Tesla Cybertruck on the road for the first time tonight

I used to think that Mick Jagger was the only thing more ugly in person than in photos. JFC, that hunk of trash was even uglier in person than I thought it would be. And I already thought it was pretty damn ugly.

It was so ugly that driving one in public should be grounds for involuntary commitment in the state mental hospital.

Crushing one into a cube would be an aesthetic improvement
