I commented to my wife about how the two of us seem to enjoy "small things" in life often, and how important that is.

Small things ...
Ya but when that small thing is the bank acct during hyper inflation.....well that doesn't make me happy

Yesterday was our first day back and we went to the Dekalb Farmer's Market (which is a place to see) and had lunch at Cafe d'Alsace.  The owner was there and chatted with my wife a bit, their food is pretty decent and they know us now, which is nice.  I commented to my wife about how the two of us seem to enjoy "small things" in life often, and how important that is.

Small things ...
yup, smaller than traveling out of the country

Honestly it was probably around 64 here... But full sun which makes things seem warmer, and not that much wind (until the last few holes).

For me, mid-60s and sunny is perfect golf weather. I suppose for others, they want it to be in the 80s. Not me.

I helped my friend move into a 3rd-floor apartment.
But the complex used to be a resort and has a parking garage, with connections to the apartment buildings.
So it was like moving into a 1st-floor apartment.
That made me extremely happy.  And relieved.  And able to get it done.
