Did our taxes over the weekend, so it's nice to have that out of the way.
We're getting quite a return, which on the one hand makes me happy since maybe we could splurge on something, and on the other, makes me grumpy because our checks could've/should've been bigger throughout the year. I generally aim to not owe and have as small of a return as possible. Got my dad's voice in my ear, grumbling about how tax returns just mean I've been loaning my money to the government interest-free for a year.
