My kid bought me this batting machine gizmo, you swing at it and the ball whips around a post, pretty heavy duty.  It's in fact quite heavy, so heavy it's not very transportable, and I'd have to lug it outside and set it up (which is nontrivial) to use it.  So, my wife is trying to figure out how to return it.  Seemed like a good idea I think.
