That is pretty neat. My uncle way back made up bound books, several, of our family lines. They are hard to read, but the information is mostly there if you look. There are some neat photos in it. My Dad was given a family name of "Bluford" which he changed when he enlisted to "Buford" and made it his middle name because his initials had been "B.O." which back then stood for Body Odor.
His siblings all had unusual first names, Desma, Grapell, and Watson. Watson lived to 104, he was determined to outlast his grandmother who was 102.
My kids seem very uninterested in geneology at this point.
