Nothing like floating on the lake with an adult beverage, smoking a joint and listening to classic rock.

Took the afternoon off.   Have out of town company- going to cook and drink and hang by the pool.  That makes me happy.

The Jazz Festival is across the street tomorrow, going to be noisy.  Which is OK.  We might even go for some of it.

I don't run, so I don't know my mile time, and certainly not my 3 mile time.

But my FTP on the Peloton is 320W, and that's pretty good. I'm usually pretty near the top of the leaderboard.

And I'm happy about that.

I like these protein drinks called Core Power, especially the chocolate flavored ones.  But they're like $3.50 a bottle or something like that and they add up in a hurry, so we don't hardly ever get them.  But my wife's employer recently started buying snacks for them, including boxes of those chocolate Core Powers.  The other employees don't take many of those so she started bringing them home for me.  That makes me happy.

It's a very minor thing, but I'll take any win I can get.

Running is not a great idea for folks my age, but then again, I'm so slow the impact is minimal.

I threw off the wall today, I think I'm making some progress.

Funny story…. Long game yesterday and bled iver into dinner on an outdoor beach patio at Kenny D’s here in Destin.

Was watching on my phone and just so happens, the next 2 tables next to us were all Vols as well.  I drew a crowd with the game on my phone.  They were all apologetic for intruding on our dinner but we didn’t care obviously.  It was pretty cool.

Nothing like the love of sports to make strangers into friends in an instant.

That made me happy.
