So because a guy tried to move the team we get a new stadium, better owners, an in-State MLS rival and some Browns events?

Thanks Precourt.

Berhalter - Class Act, able to take one of the cheapest roasters year in and year out and make it competitive. He is a players coach, the guys love busting their @ss for him. I think he will be successful enough at the national team level.

The ATL is abuzz about the game tonight.  I predict the home team gets up like 6-0 and then blows it in the fourth quarter.

Yes, I know they don't have quarters.

Reports coming out Atlanta's owner called Haslam several times encouraging him to buy the crew. I was rooting for Atlanta because of that.

They had over 73,000 at that MLS Cup game.  The city has so few "championships" that they count that as one of course.  There is a large Hispanic population here which helps with interest.

And to top it all off the Columbus Destroyers are being brought back from the dead.

I wanted Antonio Conte. The USMNT seems to want to ape a European style and I always thought that traditionally our players were always comfortable playing that Italian style (while not beating them we've always given Italy all they could handle in matches). I also love to see US players head to Italy as well, its the best league for further development IMO, only problem is they aren't good enough to play for the few clubs that could pay them better than MLS.
Berhalter seems fine. I never did think that his columbus teams played fun football or anything but he's pragmatic, we'll grind out wins and enough pts to qualify (CONCACAF is on a major downswing). Which I guess given the lack of talent is what we need right now.

Now the Ohio Machine are getting contracted.

It is not an April Fools joke, just odd timing.

A little barb just because I can:

Look now at what place the Columbus Crew are in. 😃 (For those not willing to Google; Crew after 6 games are sitting in 1st.)

Can someone tell me where in the standings the Austin Broccoli's are? 😈

Who are you attempting to "barb?"

You're tilting at windmills here.

According to Wiki Miami and Nashville get teams in 2020, and Austin in 2021.
Which you probably knew, since you made the apt comparison of their logo to broccoli.

And Karma is B!tch. Since I bragged about Columbus being in First, and Austin not playing the Crew have lost two straight. So, I humbly offer an apology to our Austin fan here.

In other News Austin Bold had 5,800 fans sell out their shiny new stadium.
