A source close to Burrow said last Thursday: "It ain't happening," when it comes to Nebraska being a landing spot.

At this point, there has been zero dialogue between Frost and the Burrow family.

Some things are just not meant to be, and at this time it appears Nebraska going after Burrow is not going to happen, but as we know all it takes is one phone call or one follow on Twitter to change that all.

It would also take a waiver from Delaney to be eligible this season - probably not an issue if Urban is on board

Looks like the WR coach could be in a bit of trouble.

He's always come off as somewhat of a douchebag, and many people assume he only has a job because Urbs loves Earl Bruce and he's Earl Bruce's grandson.  What I'm trying to say is that no one will miss him.

he is a douchebag...   When you're on top, people will gun for you.  But shooting back at a program that can't compete with you makes you look... well, like a douchebag.

He gone. Lots of people suspecting Brian Hartline will be the next WR coach.

heard that earlier today from other outlets, although this is the first with such a negative approach.
He was only going to be able to come back, if at all, for last game or two.  And that would have been risky.
Not sure why these idiots need to characterize it that way??

Coming from Tim May I'm guessing it has some sort of traction

yeah, I really don't blame him for sitting out.
He's a top 10 NFL draft pick at worst. Probably more like top 5. Why risk it? If Gary was in the same situation, I'd say the same thing.
Fans want to see them play and it's very easy to criticize when it's not your career and earning potential on the line. Let's say he came back when he wasn't really ready and re-injured himself. Welp, there goes his top 5-10 draft status and millions of dollars.
With the way that the rookie contracts are slotted now, what round and how high you get picked are more important than ever. BIG difference in total money and upfront/guaranteed money vs being a top 5 pick or a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Yes- his father just made a statement that he was facing a week recovery with a possible return well into December.
