Jarrett Stidham (Auburn's QB) is only a Soph? That's a program lifting QB that will stabilize Gus Mahlzan's job for the next few years. Much like Holgorsen getting Will Grier, especially if these guys can be kept through their Senior Years.

B1G the new conference of the RB? Zeke and Bell are two of the 3 best RB's in the entire NFL. Barkley might be joining them soon. If he's not a top 5 pick, I'll be absolutely shocked. He has literally everything you look for in a RB.

Pass catching ability? Check.
Top end speed? Check. (Something Bell lacks)
Power? Check.
Acceleration? Check.
Vision? Check.
Size? Check. 5'11, 230- really the perfect RB build.

He is a freaking stud. I just hope he goes to a team that knows how to use him. He could be a Marshall Faulk type of back who can get you 1,400 rushing and another 1,000 receiving a year.

Go Cyclones!  Up 31-24
I just turned over to that game because PSU/NU was pretty well a lost cause. Just watched Baker Mayfield dance around the backfield for about 15 seconds trying to find ANY open receiver before getting sacked for a 10 yard loss. Yikes!

He was a 5* QB recruit, went to Baylor started as a true Frosh. Transferred once all that stuff with Briels went down. Think he's a RS Soph. And yes, he's a stud. Was praying he'd give Michigan a look once he transferred, but apparently 5* QB's don't want to play for Jim Harbaugh. Lol.

Grier is a stud as well. Florida is probably a completely different team and offense if he had never been suspended and then left.

Not sure either of them are big-time NFL prospects- so they might both stay their entire careers. Don't get me wrong- I'm sure they'll be drafted- but I don't see a Josh Rosen or Sam Darnold in either one. NFL teams aren't wetting their pants for either one.

Grier doesn't have the physical size preferred by the NFL, but having seen him play in person he is a master at scanning through his progressions AND using his feet in and out of the pocket. That's two hard-to-teach attributes that the NFL will be more than happy to work with and build around. Especially because of his feet, Grier looked like a college Bret Favre in the games I've watched him QB. And yes, I've wondered what this Gators team would look like with Grier. The QB position has been cursed post-Tebow.

absolutely shocking to me.
How the hell do you beat Ohio State on the road at night- but lose to Iowa State at home at noon? That is so Oklahoma under Bob Stoops- but he's no longer the coach lol.

Edit: actually that's not true. Stoops got embarrassed in most big games. Didn't earn that nickname Big Game Bob for nothing. I don't know what this is.

yeah, don't get me wrong I agree. I think he's a HELL of a QB. I'd have wet my pants if trades happened in college football and they would've been able to trade Wilton Speight at the beginning of the season for Grier lol. He's awesome.

Honestly who really knows. These NFL jagoffs have no idea what they are doing when drafting QB's. They always take guys way too high that have no business going that high or pass up on guys they should take high. I just don't see Grier or Stidham being highly coveted by NFL teams. They always seem obsessed with the 6'4 to 6'6, 230-250 pound dude with the rifle arm. How the hell DeShaun Watson fell to 12th while Mitch Tribusky went 2nd overall is completely beyond my comprehension. Watson should've been the #1 pick in that draft and Tribusky probably shouldn't have been drafted until late. Most NFL GM's suck.

And yes Florida is a much better team with Grier this year. A QB like that can completely change an entire team. Makes the offense better obviously and the defense better by extension just because they aren't on the field all game long because the offense keeps stalling out.

Well, no offense but it was kinda stupid lol.

This is a REALLY good Penn State squad this year. Northwestern isn't that good. This isn't one of the better Northwestern teams- and it would take one of those type of teams to knock off this Penn State team.

Penn State is loaded with offensive fire-power and the defense has improved significantly over last year. I know they barely escaped Iowa- but that game should've never been that close. They had almost like 600 yards of offense. Iowa couldn't stop them- they stopped themselves. That's a bitch of a place to play in at night and lots of flukey-crazy shit happens there at night. Wind up not mattering bc McSorley put the dagger through Iowa's heart with 4 seconds left.

Barkley isn't blowing up the stat sheet these last two games but that's because teams are flat out selling out to stop him. Which is kind of silly because McSorley and that WR/TE crew is pretty damn good. That's a pick your poison type of offense. Either sell out to shut Barkley down or he'll destroy you- but when you do that McSorley is more than capable of dicing you up.
I didn't think McSorley would be as good because of the wind today, and I also didn't think Thorson would so bad. That was the difference today. PSU finally wore NU down and that was that. They had nothing left in Q4.
