Justice Haynes is soooooo good. what a gift it was to get him in the portal from Bama. Absolutely insane to me that Kalen DaBoer has zero clue how to use an elite RB. Kid was a 5* and #1 RB coming out of HS. Typical Saban RB.

Wink: they haven't been able to pass protect or throw the football all-season. maybe don't blitz every snap? how about you stack the box stuff the run and force them to throw? mmmkay.

Nice job by Moore breaking that up - could have been a big play

yeah it was great seeing him back out there. nice seeing Zeke Berry back too. those two guys back in the starting lineup changes the outlook of the secondary completely.

Boilers moving the ball nicely so far today.

Up until one gets punched out, Illinois recovers, and then strikes deep on the first play after the turnover.

Illini now up 10-7.

I jinxed them.  Didn’t mean to.

Wisconsin is a lot better, when they don't have to deal with their own fan base.

They need to involve Marsh much more the rest of the season.

Wheels off, and now the car's on fire. Yikes.

24-7 Illini.

Switching over to the game on Fox.

Found a busy bar called Standard Hall on High Street to catch some of the noontime kickoffs. The brunch crowd here rooting for Wisconsin against Michigan.

Since I don’t own any Ohio State gear, am wearing a bright red Arizona Wildcats hoodie to match tonight’s homecrowd.

4th time seeing Ohio State in person, but 1st for a Buckeyes homegame. 1st time seeing Minnesota in person.

Coworker’s tailgate starts in another 2 hours near the Horseshoe.

For crying out loud, bench Semaj Morgan. What is the infatuation with this kid? He’s tiny, is not a great route runner and drops a ton of passes. Yes he’s quick, but if he’s your top talent at WR, the problem is far more massive than we thought.

Everything about Marsh looks good. Involve him more. Stop running up the middle over and over. Roll out Underwood and open up the options. This garbage where every week it’s run up the middle over and over and throw way too many bubble screens and force underwood into third and long over and over for Morgan to drop balls or McCulley to run the wrong route is old.
