Another Scooby Wright-type season was Clemson LB Keith Adams.  As a SOPH, he had 186 tackles, 35 TFL, and 16 sacks.

I know, but he did actually coach in the Big Ten.

Won 3 Big Ten titles and had an MNC stolen in 1994.

Yeah, and he wasn’t as successful in the B1G as Woody Hayes was in the B1G so it’s kind of a moot point. Most of Paterno’s big successes came as an independent. He wasn’t all that successful in the B1G, often finishing second or third fiddle to Michigan or Ohio State.

Woody won 13 B1G titles and 3 undisputed mythical MNC’s. He has to be the guy when it talking B1G.
