Michigan is favored at home by 21.5 points.  That may be a bit much even if there is no chance Michigan overlooks Sparty or takes their foot off the gas at any point.  State will bring it all and it'll be a violent nasty football game, as usual, where the unexpected and goofy shit frequently happens.
I'd take Sparty and the points

but, I'm not a betting man

oh they'll have a shot. more than a shot. those aholes play this game like it's their super bowl and always pull sh#t out of their ass in this one they don't in any other game of the season.

On paper, Michigan should crush them. But paper don't mean jack. This is why they play the game. Any given Saturday.

Michigan co-captain, tight end Erick All undergoes 'life-changing' surgery.

No idea what the surgery was for.  There must be a appropriate specialist in Ft. Myers, FL.

It is interesting that this weekend both Ohio State and Michigan are facing teams for whom they are unrequited biggest rivals

think it was a bulging disc in his back or something like that. he's done for the year obviously, which sucks because he is by far their best TE- and he's also probably done at Michigan. Have a feeling he's going to measure in at 6'4+ and 250+ at the NFL combine and run a really fast time for a TE and have a nice vertical and wind up getting drafted. Really no reason for him to comeback and risk re-injury at this point.

yep. Michigan's real #2 rival is Rutgers. Rutgers just announced the Michigan @ Rutgers game is going to be a night game with a 7:30 kickoff. YAY.

You can actually just pick this game based on whether MSU is good or not.  The last time Michigan beat a Michigan State team that finished with fewer than 6 losses?  2003, when MSU was a stellar 8-5.

Since then, over 18 seasons, MSU has finished with 5 or fewer losses exactly half the time.

When MSU has 5 or fewer losses: MSU 9-0
When MSU has 6 or more losses: UM 8-1

MSU would need QUITE the turnaround to finish with fewer than 6 losses
