Florida is a weird team, to me,  they have some skilled players of course, but I think lack linemen.  That is probably the toughest part of a down team to rebuild.

The Vols are weird to me also, not really sure about them.  I guess we'll find out a bit about Missouri next week in Athens.

It was definitely OAM.  And I thought it was losing team still scores 31 or 32?

These days everybody but the B1G seems to do it.   Those crappy cro magnon offenses don't lend themselves to much scoring or excitement... :57:

Henderson was the difference last night. McCord is not good.

UW losing Braelon Allen and Chimre Dike in the 2nd quarter wasn't ideal.
Yup I tried to like him, I really did the late drive vs ND had me thinking/believing he turned a corner but sadly no.He's the same QB in week 8 as week one and been thowing to MHJ for 5 yrs now two in HS and 3 in C-Bus.Day hasn't developed anyone behind CJ,but it is noticeable he really has no zip on the ball nor can McCord look off his primary receiver that he routinely locks into then kind of arm punts. QB will be open for competition in the spring

He sucked yesterday. It was by far his worst game.
He had the 3rd best streak of passes without an interception broken last night.
Most of the other QBs at top programs have already had a night like that ( Caleb Williams, JJ McCarthy, Quinn Ewers)With multiple interceptions.

He has been very streaky- with times he looks horrible and other times he looks excellent.

I tend to agree- I don’t get the feeling he is going to be an elite QB.  My hope is he becomes a better game manager, distributing the ball. Pretty much what he has been before last night- only with less mistakes.

Let me respectfully- but strongly disagree with you on 2 things.
-Has no zip on the ball.  Couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, one of the big criticisms about him by the quarterback, Talking Heads- is that he throws too many passes with too much zip and needs to learn how to throw with more touch.  He has a legitimate NFL arm - as Blackledge said last night on McCords first throw.  That was one hash to the other and 15 yards downfield.
- He doesn’t get off his first read.  Again not true at all. That is an overused cliche anyway. Even the best NFL QBs don’t need to come off their first read. But McCord does go his reads often- think of the number of dump offs he had last night to his hot read ( usually a RB) when nobody is open downfield. Again, he is often criticized for going through his reads TOO quickly and getting impatient with his feet.

Lastly- some of the sacks he took last night were because the pass blocking and play call were horrible.  Wisconsin sent 6 or 7 with only 5 blocking.  Obvious passing downs and Day gave no outlets for a hot read.  And they never ran a single screen on those downs. U

Ahhh yes, the metric of "lost badly in the playoff." A natural point that always settles arguments about who should go.
Seriously??

Well that, AND every single other metric.  Talent.  Coaching.  Facilities.  SOS.

All of that, plus getting run off the field, is called TOTAL evidence.  Every single data point is evidence against an Air Force navigating a shit schedule for a pseudo-chance at the national championship.

That they had a chance before was a lie and it's an even bigger lie now.  65-7.

He thru three up for grabs Marv came down with two of them the one TD pass in the corner. Fleming got destroyed on one of them and limped off. He had 2 defenders beat about 30yds or so downfield. He had to stop then turn and reach back as the ball hit his shoulder pads and defender hit his mid section simaltaneously  .If one the of the defenders turned around they would not have had a problem fielding it. Just to inconsistent,he seemed to throw well to his left though

The playoffs have to make room for a G5 for legal reasons.  Deal with it and move on.   They do need to adjust their parameters now with the Pac 3.

What legal reasons?

Nothing about crowning a national champion is official.  None of it as rules besides the ones they invent on the fly, as far as I know.

#4 McMillan on AZ is a specimen.

Tetairoa McMillan from Anaheim might be the highest rated recruit Arizona Football has ever signed. #37 Nationally as ranked by 247. McMillan contributed right away as a true freshman last year and has developed into an all-conference/American talent this season.

Coach Jedd Fisch promised a new culture, upgraded talent, and a team worth Tucson's support. So far he's delivering: there are numerous weapons across the roster, players look developed into their positions, attendance is up, and the program is pointed in the right direction. After a 1 win season in 2021 Arizona is 5-3, having beaten two straight ranked conference opponents: @ #19 Washington St 44-6 & Vs #11 Oregon State 27-24.

What might be most impressive is Arizona's secondary holding the likes of Michael Penix, Caleb Williams, Cam Ward, and DJ Uiagalelei to TWO total touchdown passes in their past four games.

Up next is homecoming Vs UCLA.
