I'd love to have Herbert back at Wisconsin. Playing in Pasadena was a regular thing when he was there.

Because the "best" routines are so person-specific
I can see there being considerable judgment and technique in that aspect, yes.

Top level S&C guys are hard to find. IU had David Ballou and his sidekick, Dr. Matt Rhea in the years where they started to make a bit of an ascendance to regular competency. They were huge because they developed scientifically based individualized workouts for each player. They were eventually poached by Alabama and there has been a noticeable decline in player development.

Chris Doyle was the Iowa football strength coach in 2011 when 13 players developed rhabdomyolysis following gruelling offseason workouts.

The Iowa O-line doesn't seem to have the same push since he's been gone
