Youse guys should try Neil Med sinus rinse and sprays. Always did the job for me.





We left the humidifiers back in the Midwest. Don't really need that here. This one was great in the bedroom (easy brutus...):

Fresh scallops for tonight. Had fresh oysters last night. My first try at shucking. Went pretty well.

I grew up in a household where illness was doubted at every turn. The idea of treating mild discomfort is ... foreign to me.

I'm surprised that the ACC didn't cancel the game in order to get both teams in.

This football season has sucked. Because of softball I’ve had just 2-3 Saturdays where I could actually relax at home and enjoy games and it seems like those days WVU was either off or canceled.  I’ve had to record several games this year and avoid the score which is hard.

Softball is finally over and it’s Championship Saturday and all I want to do is get under a blanket and watch football (and some basketball) all day.  But my friggin mother in law made plans for us to go with her and her boyfriend to go watch the tree lighting ceremony at The Greenbrier and then have dinner, and it’s in a county where Covid is running rampant.  Not a happy camper.

Tell her you don't feel good and you're not comfortable subjecting yourself to exposure. You seem like you are coming down with something.

It's to my wife's great credit that when some stupid family plans get made, she doesn't try and force the issue.  Her dad was having cake and ice cream for his birthday today at 1.  She had some plan where I would drive over there with the girls (it's like a half hour trip one way).  I was like, no, I'm watching football.  So now she is taking the girls and they are spending the night.  Which is win win for me, who suddenly has a whole glorious day of having an empty house.
