NO he didn't his remark was generic/innocuos . And if he was remarking on anything Brandon has barked specially the Beer and getting rid on Natural Gas use in the near future - then he's certainly right. So going down your path Biden's strategies appear in line with his CCP overlords that has been paying him/Hunter off and putting America's working class last.
No, this is all a damn nothingburger.

Dietary Guidelines are published by the USDA on a 5 year schedule. They are not regulations. They are not binding. They are not controlling your life in any way, shape, or form. They are basically a technocratic make-work program so the government can say "here is what we believe the science says is the most healthy diet."

Biden has largely nothing to do with this, beyond appointing the head of the USDA. He doesn't care how much beer you drink. For all of you who think he's a senile, doddering old fool, do you really think he's digging his claws into non-binding USDA dietary guidelines? Of course not. My 99.999% guess is that Biden found out about the new alcohol guidelines at the same time the rest of us did. There's no reason it would even have crossed his desk.

Then 320 whined about Brandon controlling his life. Like he was going to regulate American beer consumption. Yet that's nothing even remotely like what is going on here. As I said, if the USDA Dietary Guidelines were actually controlling everyone's life, we wouldn't be a nation of damn fatasses. The obesity levels in this country largely occur because nobody pays attention to those guidelines anyway.

And now you're bringing up a COMPLETELY unrelated aspect, natural gas stoves, which might actually be worth complaining about if it becomes a real REGULATION. But it's a red herring because the dietary guidelines are not regulations, have never been regulations, and nobody is talking about making them regulations to control every American's diet.

Don't worry, conservatives... The gov't isn't coming for your Bud Light Coors Light.

How soon they forget.  Unreal.  So many still today who lost their job because it vaccine mandate.
tit or tat

no one lost their job because of the mandate
folks lost their job because they refused to get a shot

I don't remember a federal mandate forcing anyone to get a shot.
Unless of course you worked for the federal government

I didn't work for the government, but if my employer had mandated a shot, like my employer mandates many things like dress code.  Then I have a decision to make.

I think we can all agree this beer thing is advisory, not mandatory, and unlikely to influence anyone's behaviors.

Really? You have a quote from Biden on this?

All I can see is that this is supposedly attributed to Dr George Koob, and some people call him Biden's "alcohol czar".

However, it's strange... He doesn't show up on the list of Biden's political appointments
the list of Biden's political appointments

But I get that... Maybe he's Biden's hand-picked alcohol czar and he got one of his underlings to appoint him...

...BUT...

Dr George Koob got his current role in 2014, when Biden wasn't POTUS.

So... Exactly what does Biden have to do with this again?

It's a nothingburger.

You are wrong.  I never suggested this potted plant controlled my life.  Only that he would like to. This guy has weaponized the DOJ to step on citizens rights and needs to be watched closely

A LOT of what politicians say is simply noise not backed up by anything of substance, maybe a fig leaf or two.  I don't see any realistic chance the US will somehow abandon natural gas in the coming decades.  It's really not possible (short of massive economic breakdown).  This is the EIA projection to 2050.

Well, don't worry. I don't think he's gonna be sending the DOJ after you if you have 3 beers a week.

Great. So you're making political accusations based on clickbait headlines for news stories you didn't read?

I expect better here.

Plenty of folks have been complaining at such meetings, just as they did years ago.  And nobody has been arrested for complaining.  Maybe a few were arrested or banned for making threats.

So you can't claim that Biden has anything to do with this bad thing, so you'll bring up another bad thing to distract us from the fact that your initial position was baseless?
