That's perplexing are you hung over? Just how in the hell do you weave that into what he posted?
Government guidance is not controlling someone’s life. It’s hot air.

Whereas there are a bunch of laws that *actually* control your life, with punishments and everything. And people don’t give it much thought.

So if the former earns more than an eye roll, while the latter doesn’t bother you, I’m going to assume it’s a case of getting “mad” because it’s fun to get mad at the folks across the aisle.

It can be, depending, but it's optional.  Imagine a person who relies heavily on such guidance, it does then control  their life.

But I'm agreeing with your basic point of course.  I've known folks who "religiously" did stuff because of 'expert advice'.  They wanted to "live forever" etc.

What mandates did we have during COVID broadly?  I know there were some locally for certain occupations.

We had a few events where we had to show that card thingee.  They were optional.  My recollection is most of the broad mandates were shot down legally.

Masks on planes. Masks depending on where you lived. Vaccines, depending on where you worked (or served our country). Vaccines for travel. Non-"essential" businesses forced to close.

There was a lot of broadness.

he never remotely stated anything close to what you surmised - taking that totally out of context. At least not on that page

Seeing as he's demented he should have checked in to lead paint chips he was munching on 1st

But he did.

He used this as an example of the government trying to control him and noted The only one who can control him is his wife.

but the government controls him and all sorts of ways, in ways that go well beyond suggesting what you should do, to which you can easily answer “eff that” and no one will care.

By "broadly", I guess I meant universallly.  A person could have avoided all of the above unless he wanted to retain employment with whatever agency.

We did have a lot of specific mandates, no doubt.  And there were many states that "shut down" a lot of stuff.

But he did.
NO he didn't his remark was generic/innocuos . And if he was remarking on anything Brandon has barked specially the Beer and getting rid on Natural Gas use in the near future - then he's certainly right. So going down your path Biden's strategies appear in line with his CCP overlords that has been paying him/Hunter off and putting America's working class last.

They are getting rid of natural gas in the "near future"?  I know folks talk wildly about such things, but I think this is false.  We're not even getting rid of coal any time soon.

Per the discussion we had a few days ago, there are very few areas where FedGov can implement universally. Badge brought up masks on airplanes, which is one area they can (via FAA regulations based on CDC guidance). Another was masks for servicemembers. One area they tried (and failed IIRC) was mandating that anyone working for a company with Federal contracts would be required to get the vaccine. Don't quote me on that last one--it's how I remember it but I'm not going to put the time into looking it up.

However, pretty much everything else falls under the state police powers area. Which is why CA mandates were different than FL, of course. Even here in CA, it was a STATE rule that people in healthcare had to wear masks. While that aligned with CDC guidance, the CDC can't force that on the states.

Just going on what the blisterhead barked,I didn't say it was going to happen. And how bent is his party to allow him to tell us how much/many suds we should consume? When it's obvious  he's a puupet at best a traitor at worst - and I didn't vote for TRUMP either
