He is obviously guilty of Major tax evasion and pleaded it down to a misdemeanor.   If it was Trumps son it would be hard prison time.  I think you know that.

I don't know all the facts. Nor do you. But there is little indication that the government had an airtight case. If so, they could have brought it years ago.

you made the point that in you opinion Hunter was only charged because he is who he is.

So Antifro- which is a conspiracy theory, the claim that the only reason Hunter Biden was charged is to appease Republicans who are in favor of Trump?

True. But Biden isn't going to pardon Hunter. 

If Biden pardons Hunter, I'll eat my words. 

(Bearing in mind that POTUS can only pardon federal charges, and I'm assuming that the tax evasion charges at the very least are federal, so they're within his purview.)
