Wait until it comes out that the CIA was involved. Oh.. it has.
And would that be illegal?

Yep.

Laptop from hell may have changed things, but the story was censored by big tech and covered up by intelligence as Russian disinformation.
So, it was “censored,” by Twitter but not close to aggressively enough to matter. The link was blocked for like a couple days. And you could still tweet about it. If anything, it managed to drive more attention to the damn thing.

Now, you can argue that the choice led to people believe the story was discredited, though that’s not really “censorship” directly.

The story was suppressed by a rather motley collection of agencies.

Ask yourself this question and answered honestly:

Your credibility is kind of on the line with this one.

Had that laptop belong to Trump’s family would there have been media coverage because that’s the part you’re leaving out of your analysis above. The major media networks absolutely refuse to talk about it.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

I was talking specifically, and I mean specifically, if the Twitter censorship had a big impact.

If my credibility rides on that run-on question, I’ll say that if that laptop full of weird homemade porn and weird emails came to light that way, I think the major networks would probably have treated it as more believable, yes.

Thank you.  And let’s have full disclosure.

The clear effort and motive was for the laptops’ content to never come to light. They vigorously assassinated it as not genuine long before they had any idea or opportunity to learn if it was.

The best kind of deceptive "information" is that which contains some truths while obscuring others, it can even be entirely true in a literal sense while being entirely misleading in its implication.

This to me is a good example of the latter.
Like the Bible?

You know, when I first lost my faith around the age of 13-14, I found myself (this was the early BBS days) arguing with people about religion "online". Like many people who have believed in things only to abandon them later, I had my phase of being an anti-religion zealot... Or better term... Asshole.

Then, I matured, and figured out that it's sometimes best to argue against people trying to impose their beliefs on others, WITHOUT trying to jam a sharp stick in their eye to ridicule their beliefs.

Perhaps one day you may find such maturity as well.

It wasn't just twitter.

It was every platform, and alphabet agencies were involved. The latter is most disturbing. The alphabets had direct access to twitter, FB, etc. and could flag anything they wanted to flag.

We are finding out slowly what is on that laptop.

The FBI has had it since 2020. What's taking so long? (You don't have to answer that - we all know the answer).
