My wife had me drive her up to Phipp's Plaza this afternoon.  Then back of course, I'm not used to driving in traffic any more, it was pretty bad, 3 PM.  On the way back, we had a car in front of me headed the wrong way on a one way street.  Fortunately everyone stopped and let her turn around.  I'm sure we get a lot of out of towners who miss the signage.

I don't care for shopping malls, this trip cost me a bracelet at Tiffany's.
how was the pizza?
I trust the jewelry was quality

No pizza, we had lunch at a place called Earl of Sandwich, in the mall, cost $30!!!  The sandwich was just so so.

She liked a pair of earrings that were over $13 K so I talked her into the $400 bracelet.  Relative win.  Tiffany's is really expensive (duh).

My wife worked for a while at a jewlery store in Paris named "Shumay" or something like that which she said was pricier than Tiffany's by a lot.

I also won $21 in the lottery on my bet of $10, so I'm ahead if I don't buy any more tickets.

ah, you typed "plaza".  I read pizza.  I'm a little hungry.

If I ever get ahead on lottery tickets

I'll quit the game

I'm guessing a couple thousand $$ would do it

Phipp's Plaza is the upscale shopping mall around these parts, across from Lenox Square.  Phipp's has most of the chi chi places.

They are just finishing some kind of major expansion there, but not really the mall part, just adjoining hotel and whatnot.  We should have taken MARTA and missed the traffic but I had to drive to MARTA to get my card updated oddly enough.

No I came into CFN Board around end of '03 beginning of '04.1st two posters I had contact with were gatorama and Carr is my homeboy(anonymous Coward)who I hope returns.Had some exchanges with Grove Blue(Mdot) - he got ran a few times but always rose from the ashes.Glad he did to 😎 and SupMario - going by another name then.BBTS had like a 300 page joke thread going at that time. And Badge who of course had to rub in Lee Evans TD from the yr before because I was the FNG(f****** new guy). After about a year i noticed these evasive species types like you, utee,CWS,HH,MDT and a few others rumaging about(birds of a feather) so I followed them to the Big SWC Board(that's what I called it).Very lively/exposive/entertaining over there.Hopefully some of the prodigals will return maybe even the silky boy dude

I think a lot of us came here with mostly experience on "smack boards" that we found quickly deteriorated into silly name calling.  And maybe we showed up here expecting the same and realized in time this place is way different, we can actually share POVs sensibly (usually).  We even have talked some politics without it getting too out of hand.  Usually.

Wasn't '94 though he had more than his share of funny, salty exchanges.I'd remember the name.To bad we just couldn't have portaled it all over but many didn't put in the effort. What happened to the guy who always chimed in "Morning All" then didn't hear from him until the next morning.Doesn't one of the guys here have a website to the old CFN board - that was interesting.
