So I got backed into in a parking lot with both of us in our cars.  I was stationary and he accelerated back into me.
I get the email today that because he told them something different, it's him vs me and they "have to" believe his statement.

My car gets damaged and I get to pay for it?  Is there no recourse when someone lies?

See if the parking lot owner has cameras. Almost all do these days.

On the one hand, I think that was a stupid and gross thing that Twitter did. On the other, in situation like that, businesses do you have the right to be that particular kind of gross and stupid. As such, we should respond with our market forces and diversify our ability to observe news. Which, frankly we should do anyway.

Twitter, to me, is a quasi-public utility - like Verizon, the power companies, cable companies, etc.

One of those is unregulated, and one of those has (had) a portal to censor, if you're on the right team.

Imagine a staunch conservative bought an unregulated Verizon and took away all the phones belonging to liberals. 

I was being extreme to make a point.

The point stands. 

Twitter censored opinion and fact when government asked it to.

this is why you ALWAYS call the police and have a citation issued to the driver at fault.

Then there is less lying to the insurance companies.
