just read the MINIMUM Illinois government employee salary is $100,000+.

Some city managers in that state making as much as $340,000.

Jesus. No wonder why that state is sinking.

Illinois really is ground zero for corruption.

Libtard extraordinaire and several hundred times millionaire Stephen King already crying about Twitter now charging $20 a month for blue check verification- and how he’s going to have to pay $20 a month for that now.

Dude should just shut the fk up and thank the gods for his good fortune that anyone ever bought or read any of his stupid fkn books. Horror books and horror films are…fkng stupid. They are neither interesting, nor scary. They are just: fkng dumb. They are for children and women.

Oh and the movie The Shining blows ass- just like every god damn horror movie ever made.

I liked The Green Mile

My favorites are The Stand and The Tommyknockers
They won't let me give blood anymore. The burnt orange color scares the hell out of the doctors.

I'm not going to "worry" about how some gaggle of sportwriters voted for the AP Top Ten, it seems trivial to me.  I'm sure some out there see dark and nefarious motives behind such things when it plausibly is just random variation with no intent.  The Vols had an impressive looking win, so they got a bit more credit.

Correct. Plus, the process to reach the rankings is extremely dated.

but people just can’t seem to quit their addiction to those rankings which makes them a very good branding tool.

Half the dollars spent on health care in the US are spent by government.  To claim we don't try to "ensure" equal health care is simply false.
You said yourself wealthier people get better health care.
We're failing, then, is what you're saying.
Fantastic.

Average, actually.

The village manager where I lived made $350K/year, and he stands to make the same amount when he retires next year at age 58.

Pensions are the biggest problem for Illinois.

Not to mention the Cadillac health care plans for life.

We got out earlier than we planned due to Illinois locking down, but we were definitely getting out. We were not gonna stay and pay for all of that.
