Good luck making the US an island.
And good luck to you trying to immigrate to New Zealand.

Anyway, water is a good barrier to most.

I wouldn't tell that to Cubans and Haitians trying to flee their socialism though.

going back to the course this morning

5-man scramble format today (sponsored by Coors $2 pints) - it's a shit show, but good male bonding for the team, good revenue for the course, and they bring back 3 beer cart girls from college!
Shyt at the game in Cleveland(Wed./Fri) - MLB is fetching 9.50 apiece.Hell i could practically fly out to your course drink my fill fly back and almost call it even.Plus factoring in the entertainment it'd be a win.Specially if i pick up the clubs - then i'd be taking the red eye back

UMass tried to troll Liberty by making it a "pride" game, but then promptly got their proverbial poop pushed by the Flames for a full 60 minutes.
Those Liberty folks do seem to like getting into the kinky stuff.

A wall would make sense if this was the year 1387.

Yeah, that's why they build prisons without walls these days.

I prefer the term "barrier", which could be a wall in places, or something else.  It's pretty obvious that any time one wishes to secure an area, any area, you can do it with X men, or many fewer with a suitable barrier.  In places it can be just steel poles, as we see near protected facilities, to prevent vehicles from traversing.

There is a Fed Reserve Bank near me we walk by often, their security is interesting and I'm sure I see only parts of it.  They have a nice museum inside one can visit and watch pallets of money going by, we're told each pallet contains $5 million and up, on automated "fork lifts" (behind glass of course).  So, inside that bank muct be billions of dollars in currency.  (Not to mention trillions of non-paper assets).

It's a neat visit if you're here and have an hour to spare.

So, we could "secure" the southern border with millions of men, or we could do it with thousands and a suitable barrier depending on terrain.

Another issue is over stayed visas of course.  This is much harder to do in the Schengen Zone for obvious reasons.

Are there a lot of 2,000 mile-around prisons?  I hadn't heard.

It would be "fun" to construct an anonymous football poll these days, you'd not know the team's name, just their wins and losses over opponents.  You can't really do that of course.

Who had the best wins and bad close wins?
