its the forcing the trans business on children

The American people have no problem with an adult individual wanting a trans operation

Its the pushing it on children that gets folks riled up
Ahh. So it's the notion that it's being forced on them or pushed by their parents that's the issue. And that it's specifically centered on operations.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit disappointed. I thought you might someone who felt free speech was important. At least that what you told us.

Seems it only matters when private actors do things you don't like with their first amendment rights. Those acts are against the spirit of free speech, but it turns out the actual practice of free speech and creating a world that fosters it, that's not all that interesting for you. Pity really.
I am all for free speech. Those aren't examples of restricting free speech to me.

Twitter/FB should be classified as public utilities- no different than the telephone if you ask me. In many ways they are the new town square if you will. Restricting speech on those platforms to me is a complete violation of free speech rights.

You can have a blog or publish whatever you want. Someone can also sue you or threaten to sue you for libel. That is not restricting free speech. The guy could've kept publishing whatever he wanted-he chose not to.

Canceling someones order of a product you make is also not restricting free speech.

Firing an employee for popping off at the mouth is not restricting free speech.

Restricting free speech is restricting free speech. That's it.

The problem in Florida is that the parents were not consulted concerning transgender conclusions for kindergarden through 3rd grade

Again just to make sure you understand this was action taken by school districts without the parents even being told

I agree 100%

and I think thats part of the solution

Congress needs to pass legislation to make social media a utility and allow no censorship

why it's even a controversial topic is beyond me. teachers have no business talking about any of that shit with children in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, or 3rd grade. Any grade really until high school. For young kids- teachers are there to teach them how to count, how to do basic math, how to read, how to spell, how to pronounce words. not to teach them about trans-sexuals, homosexuals, genitals, or sex.

Any teacher that tries to talk to a classroom full of pre-schoolers or kindergartners about that crap deserves to have the ever loving shit beat out of them.

yup. which is why this entire fake media generated pushback on DeSantis wanting to keep that shit and talk of sex, gender, and genitals out of schools for kids in Preschool to 3rd grade. What moron could possibly have a problem with this?

Any teacher who tries to talk about any of that shit with kids that age should be killed anyway if you ask me. I'm all for having the state murder kid diddlers and pedos.
Your first paragraph has nothing to do with your 2nd paragraph.  You made quite a leap there.

The story about DeSantis and that 'thing' in FL is another faux-outrage "story" like critical race theory.  Republicans found a shiny red button on their electronic board that they realized they can push as many times as they want, and it keeps the constituency up-at-arms over and over again.  No matter how many times they push it, they get upset and start insisting laws are passed to combat NOTHING.

No sane 2nd grade teachers are discussing trans issues in public schools.
No sane 7th grade teachers are discussing critical race theory in public schools.

These are invented issues one certain political party is using to fearmonger its base into action.

Do you live in a cave in the Himalayas

Just go to google and type Florida school districts forcing transgender on young students without parents permission and bingo you'll get a shitload of articles

These would be discussed and settled.  The "slippery slope" defense is BS - it only becomes a slippery slope if you don't plan.

But none of your "what ifs" are the crux of the problem - the problem is the lack of timeliness in which legal immigration is processed + the cost.  Perfectly good, safe, quality people wait nearly a decade to get processed legally.  So if you're a person without the luxury of being able to wait that long, but are equally good, safe, and quality should.......uhh.......what?

I'm not worried about a slippery slope, just a question.  if the legal process was "fixed" In your opinion, you think illegals would stop crossing the border illegally?

and then, how horrible is it if a good, safe, quality person doesn't get in for a decade?

If it took a few months instead of a bunch of years, yes, a vast majority of the normal, harmless illegal immigrants would stop sneaking in.

How horrible is waiting?  Idk, ask them.  Go get in line for a football game with your ticket, but wait in that line for 8 years.  And every 6 months, you are charged a random large amount of money (legal fees) by someone who doesn't speak your language.
