how many legal immigrants should be ushered in per month?
What are the conditions?  What conditions shouldn't be allowed?

if the legal process was "fixed" In your opinion, you think illegals would stop crossing the border illegally?

hoards of illegals is a problem

how much of a problem is not enough folks getting in legally?  is this a real problem?  Do we really need a much larger number of legal immigrants?  30,000/month?  130,000/month  1 million per month?
we have a f***k ton of land in this country and a small population relative to the amount of land we have. we could use millions more. easily.

I say we just finish the job and take over the rest of Mexico and absorb it into the US, send special forces in- kill all the Cartels and shut them down, fix it- and then they won't come here.

There's a lot of really nice land and beaches in Mexico.

unfortunately, the hundreds of thousands of illegals aren't spreading out in Montanta, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and North Dakota

yeah, none of that is not restricting free speech. nice try though.

I bet that moron who was shorting Tesla and talking shit about them is broke now. Tesla has went to the f***king moon since 2018. Imagine covering those shorts. :043:

These are not the actions of a believer in free speech. They're the actions of someone who wants to cosplay that role when it's convenient. But of course, we'll bend and twist because it is our way to excuse the actions of those we like.

We live in an interesting time for free speech and association. The legal system is used frighteningly often to chill free speech. A smattering of laws are being used to do the same. At times, we insist the law must force private parties to associate. Quite a time, quite a time.

YAWN.

You're comparing apples to oranges. And none of it is restriction of free speech. Stop it.

These would be discussed and settled.  The "slippery slope" defense is BS - it only becomes a slippery slope if you don't plan.

But none of your "what ifs" are the crux of the problem - the problem is the lack of timeliness in which legal immigration is processed + the cost.  Perfectly good, safe, quality people wait nearly a decade to get processed legally.  So if you're a person without the luxury of being able to wait that long, but are equally good, safe, and quality should.......uhh.......what?

So I'm interested in this in a sort of peeling back the onion kind of way.

The thing that will get them beat is simply supporting anything related to this trans business, which a lot of folks don't like one bit, correct?

this all day long. it takes too long, the hoops these people have to jump through are insane, and the cost is ridiculous.

none of us would be here right now and America would be a poor shithole if they had these kind of asinine restrictions and roadblocks to legally immigrate when our parents, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, great-great grandfathers, great-great-great grandfathers, etc., etc., came here.

its the forcing the trans business on children

The American people have no problem with an adult individual wanting a trans operation

Its the pushing it on children that gets folks riled up

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit disappointed. I thought you might someone who felt free speech was important. At least that what you told us.

Seems it only matters when private actors do things you don't like with their first amendment rights. Those acts are against the spirit of free speech, but it turns out the actual practice of free speech and creating a world that fosters it, that's not all that interesting for you. Pity really.

yup. which is why this entire fake media generated pushback on DeSantis wanting to keep that shit and talk of sex, gender, and genitals out of schools for kids in Preschool to 3rd grade. What moron could possibly have a problem with this?

Any teacher who tries to talk about any of that shit with kids that age should be killed anyway if you ask me. I'm all for having the state murder kid diddlers and pedos.

I have no problem with speeding up the legal process

I do have a problem with a President bypassing Congress and just opening the borders to one and all

Again what the Biden administration is doing is an impeachable offense
