I feasted on slow fastballs a bit up and away, usually, or low fastballs inner half, where said pitches are maybe 60 mph.

A couple of the fellows can throw in the 70s.  I tried to hit off Chris Mullen two years ago, he was throwing 90s.

My one claim to baseball fame is sitting on the Texas City HS bench and watching our team play Alvin Tx and face their star Nolan Ryan.

His fast ball looked like a long white salmi

this is hilarious. having said that, I hate Starbucks, always have, this is nothing new as their entire business model from day one was to price gouge the sh*t out of their customers. their margins have to be stupid high- they are like the Apple of coffee. both these companies mottos have to be: "hey, how can we rape our customers more" - but alas....like a complete dumbass I still find myself going to Starbucks and also buying Apple products. There just isn't any competition for Starbucks- they have a monopoly and can charge whatever the f**k they want. sure, in your own town or area you might know some great little coffee spots or cafes - but if you travel a lot or drive a lot - where you going to go? Dunkin Donuts is trash. I wish illy's had cafe's all over the US - I'd go there over Starbucks 10/10 when I want espresso & a croissant in a pinch.

😂😂.  I rarely by a cup of coffee- so the few times I have been in a Starbucks has been to buy someone else a gift card.
not a fan of the taste of their coffee. Their Breakfast blend is decent- and I can buy those at Costco at the same price as my preferred coffee- Dunkin Donuts.

Costco has their own brand of Columbian, it used to be $10 for a 3 pound can, now it's $13, but still a steal, as good as I've found anywhere.  I use a French press.

Coffee shops are VERY popular around here, the young crowd, I think it's more of a social thing than liking coffee.  We used to go to Cafe Intermezzo that had a ginormous brass coffee machine from Austria but they are crowded all the time so we patronize the other places that are new or struggling, but not for coffee.  And there is a Starbucks of course.  My wife has her machine to make espressos.

I still don't think Starbucks is unusually gouging for profits, no doubt they play off the price elasticity of their product, as they should.

The only drink that should cost $5.00 is a giant-ass smoothie that you watched them put all the fruit in.
