Good ole inflation. Granted, inflation is one of those things where it’s bad when it’s happening quickly, but if I recall, also kind of bad if it’s happening deathly slowly. 

I do wonder about the future of labor. Like, as we mechanize more things, how do we create jobs, especially for those needing to learn more specialized skills.

Start with making more stuff here. This past year has made it painfully obvious that this needs to happen.

borrowing a 3% is one thing, there are origination fees and other ways for the lender to make their money upfront or on the back end

it's not a free service and I don't like paying for things I don't need

Sounds like my wife is having a day...

In her office, they had some patient who decided to vape weed from a vape pen in the exam room.

Now apparently they have a 36 year old male virgin in the office. I haven't yet heard whether this is because of some religious belief or if he's just not $^@#able...

We have the nicest plumber you can imagine.  He wears booties and cleans up after better than it was before.  He is extremely courteous and well spoken.  He had an intern type last he was here, a young white guy, the plumber is black, bald, 6'5" tall, and has a great smile.  I keep thinking up more  jobs just to chat again.

The intern dude is also very polite and well spoken, he "sounds" like he could handle college just fine.

Many now need a 2 year or a certificate. Those combined with internships can lead to a great paying job.
