Yeah, braking with the truck would be bad.  I'm surprised he didn't appear to understand that.

Staying in a Carl Jr. parking lot sounds boring to me.

Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every way...
Some folks say I'm egotistical
Hell I don't even know what that means
It must have something to do with the way
That I fill out my skin tight blue jeans
Suburbia:Where they tear out the trees & then name streets after them.

USA Men's 3x3 basketball team failed to even qualify for the Olympics.  Nothing against Robbie Hummel, but how is our roster composition such that he (a decade after he retired from the NBA?) is the best player on the team?  It was him, a podcaster who played a decade ago for Princeton, a G Leaguer, and a guy who apparently played for Minnesota 5 years ago, and I don't even recall.

I get that we aren't going to use NBA stars for that, but I think the women's team (which did qualify) had four low level WNBA players.  You couldn't find 4 NBA bench guys on eliminated teams to go over?  Hell, 4 current good college players have to be a better option.  Just send Baylor's 4 best players.

I played the regulation course yesterday. Previous rounds there have been 109, 112, and 121 (a particularly heinous day).

Made it around in 95.

If that was an Olympic sport, I would absolutely watch it. I remember being in Myrtle Beach once, and the Putt-Putt we tried to go to was closed for some sort of national event

Doing the chuck roast on the Joe Jr. First time smoking on this because I usually smoke larger cuts. Hoping it goes well. I realized that I've got very little of the seal left between base and lid due to all the high heat cooks I've done on this thing...

I enjoy mini-golf a lot myself.  My favorite sport is curling because I have no clue what they are doing.  My second favorite is Australian Rules Football which used to dominate ESPN.  They have no PI penalties at all and referees in long white tuxedos, with flags, and four goal posts.

Those guys are not like Lebron Janes (intentional).

How'd it turn out?  I've never smoked a chuck roast before, but I might like to try it sometime.

I did a brisket and 3 racks of pork spare ribs on Sunday, it was glorious.  Perfect weather all day, a little overcast which kept the sun off me which was great.  We had some friends over and swam for a couple of hours, and then right when I pulled the ribs off for their 2-hours in the oven, and I pulled the brisket off to hold in the cooler because it finished a little early, right then is when the skies opened up and poured rain for about an hour.  But I have a really large covered back patio with lots of seating, so we just watched the rain and drank bourbon until it was time to eat.  Awesome times. :)
