Yeah, that might be the answer, and I'll have no problem installing it. Just annoying because it's a rental. 

But at least it's a one-time deal. And then a standard LED bulb in the fixture will last longer, I'm sure.

Might look at that as well. It's a double switch so that's a little more, with the second one controlling an outlet in the room.

I can imagine no one might see the shooter(s) very well in a drive by, they could get some car recognition perhaps, you don't expect this, generally speaking, shots ring out and I'd be diving for the ground.

I see a fair number of cars with blacked out windows, I think they are illegal here, but they happen.  If I were doing a drive by, I'd obscure my tax number and have blacked out windows.

Shoot and scoot.

They might get "black SUV, maybe a Ford, or Chevy", as if.

Roll one down to shoot of course, then roll up and scoot.  I doubt anyone standing by would get much of a look at the shooter, and they likely would have a vague vehicle description.

Of course, I've never tried this.  yet.

This is likely just another crime that will never be solved. There are so many.

It's also 99.9999% likely that the victims knew the shooter, and vice versa.
